Privacy Policy
Short version: DOWFit has no accounts, no ads, and no tracking. Your scores and settings stay on your device. The only personal data we ever receive is what you choose to send through the contact form.
Who we are
DOWFit is developed and published by BuildingRome Studio LLC, brought to you by Salute to Suit. Questions about this policy can be sent to privacy@buildingrome.dev.
Data that stays on your device
The following is stored locally in your browser or on your device only. It is never transmitted to us or any third party:
- Test inputs and scores. Everything you enter into the calculators is computed on your device.
- Saved score history. Scores you log are stored locally so you can track your trend.
- Personalization profile and settings. Your saved details (such as service, age bracket, and sex) and preferences are stored locally.
Clearing your browser data, or deleting the app, deletes all of it. We have no copy.
Data we may receive
Contact form (optional). If you use the contact and feedback form, we receive your message, an optional reply email address, and basic technical context (the calculator you were on, the page, and your browser version) to help us reproduce issues. This is delivered to us as an email through Resend, a US email provider, and is used only to respond to you and fix the issue. We do not add you to any mailing list.
Website analytics
The website uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits in aggregate. It does not use cookies, does not identify you, and does not track you across sites. We see totals, not individuals.
The mobile apps
The iOS and Android apps work offline and contain no analytics SDKs, no advertising networks, and no in-app purchases. The only network request the apps make is the contact form, and only if you choose to send it.
Payments
DOWFit is free. The website offers voluntary support through Stripe payment links. Payments are processed entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. The mobile apps contain no purchases.
Children
DOWFit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Data retention and deletion
Contact form emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your report. To have one deleted, email privacy@buildingrome.dev and we will remove it within 30 days. All on-device data is under your control and deleted when you clear it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of DOWFit after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
